Haroutioun Bastajian is a Lebanese artist of Armenian descent, born in April of 1973. After a successful career in the Middle East; due to constant civil unrest and unfortunate economic whirlwinds, his wife and 6 children immigrated to the United States in 2022 searching for a safer and more opportunistic life.<\/p>\n
After studying at Notre Dame University in Zouk Mosbeh, Lebanon and the Lebanese American University in Beirut; Harout\u2019s career in decorative art began in the mid-1990\u2019s with residential villas, commercial buildings and landmark palaces. Over the next decade, he found a unique niche through his mastery of Mosque Decoration. To date, Harout has executed artwork for over 42 domes and half domes of varying shapes and sizes around the World. Some of his highest accolades include work executed at the Amine Mosque of Beirut, Islamic Center of America (Dearborn, MI) and the Ilorin Central Mosque of Nigeria.<\/p>\n
